The Deulen Lapping Plate is perfect for use with the Deulen Mini, Deulen 6" or Deulen 12" Jointer/Planer Sharpeners. This large 8-1/2" x 18" piece of 1/4" thick glass provides plenty of surface area for smooth sharpening of even long planer knives. Why feel constrained with a small stone surface when you can have the freedom of all this room?

Pre-Covered With 6 Grits

The Deulen Lapping Plate comes pre-covered with 6 grits of paper. One side has 120, 150 and 180 grits for heavy work on blades that are damaged or very dull. The other side has 220, 320 and 400 grits for finishing and maintaining blades. Each strip of adhesive backed sandpaper is 2-3/4" wide and 18" long and is clearly labeled. Replacement Sandpaper Strips are available.
