Nano-Hone Diamond Resin Strops

Is it a steel? Is it a strop? Is it a sharpening stone? All of the above? Call it what you will, the unique design of the Diamond Resin Nano-Strop makes it a versatile and handy tool for sharpening and maintaining knives.

Long, Flat Sharpening Surface

A 1/16" thick diamond resin strip on the top of the bar provides the sharpening surface. The diamond strip is long and narrow at 15 1/2" x 3/4" (360mm x 18mm) making it perfect for taking long, smooth strokes with your knife. The kind of strokes that make maintaining a steady, consistent angle easy.

And though it is used much like a sharpening steel the abrasive surface of the Nano-Strop is flat, not round like a traditional steel. This flat surface area contacts a wide area of the edge distributing the point load, making it easier to maintain a straight, smooth line on the edge of any knife.

Handheld or Sink Top Use

A handle is mounted on the bottom of the 19-1/2" support bar near one end. Use the handle to hold the Nano-Strop like you would a traditional sharpening steel or paddle strop for fast touch ups anywhere. Or, take advantage of the non-slip silicone mounted on the bottom of the bar by placing it over a sink and use the Nano-Strop as you would a bench stone.

Diamond Resin Abrasive

The abrasive is made of diamonds held in a resin binder and can be used wet or dry. This tough resin is hard wearing for long lasting, reliable sharpening.

Choose From Two Grits

The Nano-Strop is available in three grits:

• 600 Grit/25 Micron for aggressive sharpening
• 1300 Grit /10 Micron for refining and maintenance
• 10000 Grit/1 Micron for final polishing
