Durable and Convenient
The Norton IM313 features three 11-1/2" x 2-1/2" replaceable oil stones that fit securely into a handle-unit that can be rotated to bring the desired stone into position for sharpening. The heavy-duty plastic case has a base with non-skid feet to keep the system secure while sharpening, and a handy cover for storage and protection. The base serves as a reservoir for oil to keep the stones properly lubricated for immediate sharpening.

Oil Reservoir Keeps It Contained
The oil reservoir keeps the stones that are not being used submerged in the oil so they're ready to use.The system comes with a 16 oz. container of quality Norton Honing Oil. The reservoir will hold up to a quart of honing oil, we recommend purchasing a additional quart if you'd like to fill it to capacity.

Extra Large Stones
The Norton IM313 System includes three 11-1/2" x 2-1/2" Norton Stones. These large stones are long enough to handle any knife or tool thrown at them. The first stone is the fast-cutting Coarse Crystolon stone. This stone is made of silicon carbide and is used on dull edges. The second stone is the Medium Crystolon stone to refine the edge. The last stone is the Fine India Stone which is made of aluminum oxide. This fine stone creates the final edge.
