Shapton Diamond on Glass Lapping Plates are different from other lapping plate we offer. They are made of diamonds embedded in float glass with a coating of nickel. This unique substrate is unlike the other lapping plates with bases of plastic or steel, and they have incredibly flat surfaces. As innovative as Shapton G7 Stones themselves, this lapping plate will leave your stones perfectly flat and ready for sharpening your finest knives and tools. Item # 70100.
